Samsung, press forward in the innovation, after announcing the Samsung 9 Series is their newest notebooks are super thin, also announced a new type named Samsung Sliding PC 7 Series, which is intended to combine the world of notebooks and mobile PCs. This product is the first Samsung slider tablet PCs, and they have decided to use Microsoft's Windows 7 as the Operating System. Under the hood is an Intel and the reduced weight only 2.2 pounds.
There will be two options for potential customers: a model 32GB, or 64GB versions. Both utilize mSATA SSD. The screen is 10.1-inch version, with capacitive touch screen. This is a HD LCD with 340 nit brightness. Resolution is 1366 x 768. Inside, you'll find an Intel Atom Z670-Oak Trail is clocked at 1.66GHz. There will be 2GB of DDR2 memory.
There are 4-in-1 memory card reader, and a single USB 2.0 port. There's also an HDMI out port. A 1.3MP webcam. Samsung Sliding PC 7 Series features a 6-cell battery, Samsung said will last 9 hours of usage. There is support for DLNA and 3G connectivity options as well. (Source)
